"The Awake Field is the thirteenth book in Ron Regé, Jr's Yeast Hoist series, which he began in 1995. Through the use of words and images presented separately, as well as combined in the standard "comics" format, Regé's Yeast Hoist books act as a sort of "annual report" on the state of the artist's subconcious.
